Dovico is committed to making our platform as accessible as possible for everyone.

We have embarked on a continual improvement process to make our platform accessible and compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

In addition, all staff will be trained on WCAG so that it becomes a part of who we are going forward.

Platform

Over the past couple of years we’ve been upgrading the architecture of Dovico Timesheet to make UI improvements easier to accomplish. One of those changes was the removal of framesets which eliminates one of the barriers that made using accessibility tools difficult with our product.

There’s still work to do so we’ve begun identifying areas where we can improve and will start making those changes immediately. Our goal is to have quarterly releases of Timesheet that will include accessibility improvements with each iteration.

We will continually aim to improve Timesheet’s accessibility over time with the initial focus areas being keyboard-friendly interfaces, screen reader navigation, focus visibility, and color contrast ratios.

Website

Similar to our work on the platform, our website will also be adjusted to become compliant with WCAG 2.1. Unlike with the product where changes will only be released on a quarterly basis, with the website, the changes will be released as they’re implemented.

Similar to the platform work, we will initially focus on keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, focus visibility, and color contrast ratios.
