A first impression is a mental image you form of someone you encounter for the first time. You create first impressions fast. Science says it takes only 1/10th of a second to create one. The accuracy of the impression depends on the genuineness of the person you meet. If it’s accurate, you’ll produce confidence in the mental image and, thus, trust in that person.
Felicia Flewelling creates the best first impressions; she is genuine. She makes those around her feel special.
What does Felicia do at Dovico?
As our Chief Friendship Officer, Felicia’s day-to-day duties include everything from answering Dovico’s main phone line, ensuring our admin tasks are fulfilled, to balancing our books. She is our swiss-army knife of all things admin. Most important of all her daily tasks, Felicia is Dovico’s personality or as she would say “Chief Pixie Dust.”
At home, Felicia is a big gamer. Her big personality reaches far and wide as she has made a few good friends in other parts of the world by playing online games. Felicia shares her love of gaming with other members of Dovico’s office by administrating the team’s Minecraft server. Just one more thing she does to meld our team together.
Why is Felicia Dovico’s personality?
One of the brightest things about Felicia’s personality is how she loves. Simply put, there are few people that I know love with a full heart as much as Felicia. From her deep love of her mom, Lori to the loyal love of her husband, Curtis to the adoring love of her two kitty fur babies, Tinga and Jellie, Felicia’s love of those close to her is unrivalled. How she still finds the space to love everyone else around her is phenomenal, but she does.
Princess Felicia
When you think of Felicia, think of all things, princess. The colour pink, feathers, crowns, jewels, you name it, she’s all that. But don’t ever confuse her with entitlement or self-centeredness that can often follow that title. Felicia is independent, resourceful and generous with her time and abilities. And while she may not be of royal descent -that we know of, we at Dovico certainly respect and honour her presence because she deserves every bit of it.

First impressions are critical to our survival in life. Good first impressions make us feel safe. And when we feel safe in the presence of others, it allows us to think and be more like our authentic selves. At first impression (and every interaction after that), Felicia makes those she meets feel comfortable and more like themselves. Our world needs more people like Felicia.
We are grateful to have Felicia and her amazing contagiously pink and sparkling “princess” personality. She makes our entire Dovico family feel safe, comfortable and authentic. Felicia’s the real deal.
