MONCTON, NB. March 26, 2020<\/strong> – Dovico Software, Inc. has announced that the company’s Board of Directors has appointed Shelley Butler<\/a> as President and Chief Executive Officer. She will assume day-to-day leadership of the company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Butler has served as Dovico’s Sales & Marketing Director and Chief Operating Officer since she joined the Company in September 2001. Yves Doucet<\/a>, Dovico’s co-founder, has stepped down from his role as President and Chief Executive Officer and will continue as a Culture Coach. Doucet will also continue to serve on the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over a 30+ year career, Doucet has started 18 companies all aimed at fostering enthusiasm and talent through local investment. It is through the challenges and uncomfortableness of starting new ventures that Yves has grown as an accomplished entrepreneur. He looks for passion in his team and matches that passion with business. Yves’ quest for bridging solutions to problems started very early in his life as a graduate of UNB School of Engineering. His new role with Dovico is in organizational culture coaching, creating meaning for employees with values and intentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Butler has successfully led Dovico in roles including Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Director of Sales and Operations, and Chief Operating Officer, making CEO a natural progression.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
